Job vacancy at the Department of Media and Communications, Swansea
University, UK, for a Research Lecturer, Grade 8.
The fast-growing Media & Communication department at Swansea University
is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Journalism to help develop and
expand its teaching and research portfolios. The department seeks
someone with an established research record who can demonstrate their
contribution to the development of critical theory and empirical
research in journalism. With a proven record of securing external
funding, the successful candidate will work with the department's team
of inter-disciplinary media and communication researchers to combine
social science based research with a humanities perspective. We are
looking for someone with the motivation and ability to make a
significant contribution to the research culture of the department.
You will join a successful department that is ranked in the top 10 for
overall student satisfaction for Public Relations, Media and
Communication (NSS 2017) and in the Top 10 for Media and Communications
