[ecrea] Creative Economy postdoctoral fellowships
Mon Nov 06 20:23:01 GMT 2017
The 3D3 Centre for Doctoral Training (a partnership between UWE Bristol,
Plymouth and Falmouth) has been awarded 6 AHRC-funded Creative Economy
Postdoctoral Fellowships from the National Productivity Investment Fund
*to begin on 1 January 2018*. These fellowships are open to
/post-doctoral/ applicants who comply with the ARHC’s definition of an
Early Career Researcher, found here
<http://www.ahrc.ac.uk/skills/earlycareerresearchers/definitionofeligibility/>.
The fellowships will be 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time on a
salary scale of £32,644-£38,947.
There are two fellowships which I think will be of interest to MeCCSA
colleagues: ‘Attention and Engagement in Digital Media Production’ and
‘The Role of Freelance Labour in a Creative Cluster’. Full details of
these fellowships and an application form can be found on
http://3d3research.co.uk/information/npif-fellowships-general-information-open/
Each fellowship will be based within one of 3D3’s established
international research centres, which have extensive successful track
records of partnerships with a range of organisations and industrial
firms
(http://3d3research.co.uk/information/3d3-institutions-research-units/).
The fellows will be mentored by senior academics within those centres
and enjoy the stimulus and support of a community of researchers.
The deadline for applications is *5.00 pm on Thursday 16 November 2017*.
Interviews will be held in Plymouth on 30 November 2017. Applications
should be sent to (3D3 /at/ uwe.ac.uk) <mailto:(3D3 /at/ uwe.ac.uk)>
