*College of Arts, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand*

The Media and Communications Department within the College of Arts is looking to appoint a fixed-term lecturer to teach two courses in the areas of strategic communication during the first semester of 2018 (February 19th to June 01st). The courses are titled “Advertising and Cultural Consumption” (Undergraduate level) and “Strategic Communication Theory and Application” (Graduate level). The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD in strategic communication, public relations or a related field and have relevant industry experience.
