[New Publication] /Comunicação e Sociedade/ vol.30 is now available – 
published in Portuguese and in English

Coordinated by Luís António Santos (CECS-UMinho) and Nelia del Bianco 
(University of Brasília – Brazil), /Comunicação e Sociedade/ publishes 
its latest issue - volume 30, ”Public Broadcasting Service and 
Participation” – as an outcome of the research project “Communication 
Policies, public radio and citizenship”, funded by the Portuguese 
Foundation for the Science and Technology (FCT) and Brazilian Science 
Agency Capes. This issue explores the complex dynamics of public service 
media in Portugal and Brazil, new challenges fostered by technological 
environments, participatory communication and regulatory mechanisms.

All articles are both published in Portuguese and English, in open access.
