Assistant Professor, Digital Journalism

The Department of Media, Communication and Visual Arts of Dyson College 
of Arts and Sciences at Pace University invites applications for an 
anticipated faculty position at the Assistant Professor level (tenure 
track) to begin September 2017. The position is located on Pace 
University's Pleasantville, New York, campus, which is about 40 miles 
north of New York City.

Candidates should have earned a PhD or equivalent in communications or a 
related field. Professional journalism experience is preferred and 
international experience is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate a strong 
commitment to both undergraduate and graduate teaching and are expected 
to develop a scholarship program that involves students. The successful 
candidate will conduct research and teach courses related to our new and 
growing Digital Journalism major. Research and teaching areas could 
include data analysis and visualization, digital design, audience 
analytics, user experience, security and surveillance, intercultural 
communication, and/or global media.
