This doctoral seminar taps into the emerging research agenda on the softening of journalism, which engages with issues such as emotions/emotionality, affect, human interest, subjectivity, personality, public/private boundary work, service, culture and lifestyle, cultural and societal critique etc., and how these issues provide new paths for media and journalism studies.

The doctoral seminar is organized by The PhD-school at the Faculty of Humanities of University of Copenhagen and the Graduate School, Arts at Aarhus University, Denmark.
