[ecrea] The Eastmancolor Revolution - UEA post-doc position

Applications are invited for a three-year full-time Postdoctoral 
Research Fellowship in the School of Art, Media & American Studies, 
University of East Anglia, as part of a three-year AHRC-funded research 
project /The Eastmancolor Revolution and British Cinema, 1955-85/, 
directed by Professor Sarah Street, with Dr Keith M. Johnston (UEA) as 
Co-Investigator.

Salary: £31,656.

Funding duration of appointment: 1 Oct 2016 - 30 Sept 2019.

You will work full-time on the project which concentrates on British 
film history, colour films, and the specific contexts around their 
archiving, preservation and restoration. You will carry out research in 
libraries and film archives, develop appropriate digital humanities 
data-mapping, help organise project events and contribute to the project 
website. You will also produce papers for publication, conduct 
interviews with practitioners and produce a video essay. This post 
represents an excellent opportunity for someone early in an academic 
career to be an important part of a high-profile project and to gain 
experience of conducting advanced archival research.
