[ecrea] CFP now open for "Communication and Society" (UMinho), issue 31

*Call for papers for /Communication and Society/ journal, issue 31, due 
on 30th September | * *“Communication and Art” *

Communication and Society Research Centre presents the call for papers 
for the upcoming issue (31) of /Communication and Society/ journal, 
about “Communication and Art”, co-edited by Helena Pires, Silvana 
Mota-Ribeiro (both from University of Minho) and Anne Beyaert-Geslin 
(Université Bordeaux-Montaigne).

This issue intends to address some of the following research questions:

- Professional relationships among artists and the general public;

- Arts and technology, new experimental concepts;

- Art construction and deconstruction;

- Art communities and cultural expressions;

- Creation processes: production and reception;

- Art semiotics: body, sexualities and art in daily life;

- Art as communication tool;

- Political intervention through art;

- Virtual museums.

*Full article submission deadline:* 30th September 2016

*Notification to authors:* 30th December 2016

*Publication:* no later than 30th june 2017

Edited since 1999, /Communication and Society /journal is indexed in 
Qualis/Capes (B1) and MIAR, as well as in the international scientific 
databases ERIH Plus, EBSCO host, DOAJ, RCAAP. A double-blind review 
process is carried out, thus evaluating all the proposals according to 
the academic style, innovative framework, theoretical approaches, 
relevance for the scientific area.
