Wed Jun 01 10:24:39 GMT 2016

The Textual & Visual Media journal has its call for papers submission open and authors are cordially invited to send their works before the last date of manuscript submission on the 30th of June, 2016.

T&VM is a bilingual scientific journal with international vocation published by the Spanish Society of Journalism (SEP) and the European and American Society of Journalism (SEAP). It aims to include only unpublished articles supported in all modern languages derived from Latin and English –both British and Anglo-American. Its research areas are concerned with the study of journalism in all its formats, print, audiovisual and digital, offering scientific analysis about the techniques and genres that are present and developed during communication professional processes: from the inception of the news story to the reception by the audience. Papers that succeed in the peer review process will be published in the original language and in English.

T&VM is characterized by having a broad international representation on its Editorial Board and the Scientific Advisory Committee (USA, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Brazil and Peru) and, to date, more than 100 authors, mostly related to Spanish universities and research centers in the US, France, Portugal, Mexico and Brazil, have published their papers on it. It also forms part of the RESH and DICE evaluation systems and is included in the ISOC (CSIC-CINDOC), CIRC, Latindex and Dialnet databases, as well as in numerous repositories and libraries. Currently it is under evaluation in international indexes such as Scopus.

T&VM has a wide circulation through libraries and research centers in the US, British and European universities, as well as in other Latin American countries through the European and American Society of Journalism. The journal is distributed amongst the attendees of the annual conference organized by the Spanish Society of Journalism, which reaches an average of 150 participants each year. All previous issues are accessible from http://textualvisualmedia.com/en, where authors will find the ethical commitment and papers submission guidelines.

Professors and researchers who wish to collaborate may send their manuscripts to: (textualvisualmedia /at/ outlook.es) <mailto:(textualvisualmedia /at/ outlook.es)>. Submission date is June 30th 2016.
