[ecrea] Call for Papers - Communication, Politics and Culture Journal

Fri Mar 18 08:57:54 GMT 2016

*Call For Papers*

*Communication, Politics and Culture*//

/Communication, Politics and Culture/ is a highly ranked
interdisciplinary journal. Formerly known as /Southern Review/, it has
maintained an intellectual profile and international reputation for
excellence in publishing rigorously double-blind peer reviewed articles
for more than 50 years. /CPC/ encourages submissions that bring a
critical perspective to understanding the nexus between communication,
politics and culture. Its interdisciplinary approach allows for a broad
scope of disciplinary frames including social and political theory,
critical discourse analysis, and cultural studies amongst others. We
welcome investigations with global and regional perspectives and
encourage theoretical and historical approaches to topics that align
broadly with the fields of communication, politics and culture. These
might include, but are not limited to: new media, communication
technologies, aesthetics, visual culture, textual practices, film and
television, literature, popular culture, rhetoric, performance, and
globalization.

Please email submissions to (CPC /at/ rmit.edu.au) <mailto:(CPC /at/ rmit.edu.au)>.
Send an electronic copy of your paper, double-spaced, with your name and
institutional affiliation on a separate page to facilitate anonymity in
the evaluation process. An abstract of 200-250 words and a biographical
note of no more than 50 words are also required. Articles should be
5000-6000 words. Manuscripts are evaluated by the editorial board, and
reviewed anonymously by external referees.
