The Working Group on THEORIES OF CULTURAL STUDIES of the Cultural
Studies Association would like to invite submissions for the 14th Annual
Meeting of the Cultural Studies Association
<http://culturalstudiesassociation.org>, to be held at Villanova
University, Villanova, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 2-5 June, 2016.
Deadline for Abstracts (500 words) is *_February 1, 2016_*.

The Theories of Cultural Studies Working Group welcomes a wide range of
proposals addressing the place of theory in the field in general, as
well as the uses, merits, and limits of specific theories and
theoretical frameworks. All relevant proposals will be considered.
  However, the Working Group is especially interested in proposals that
address uses of critical theory to engage the broad theme of this year's
meeting, "Policing Crises."

If interested in participating in one of the TWO Working Group-sponsored
panels on the theories of cultural studies, please submit the following
by *February 1, 2014*:

a. Your name, email address, department, and institutional affiliation.

b. A 500-word (or less) abstract for the 20-minute paper proposed,
including a paper title.

c. Audio-visual equipment needs (no requests for AV equipment can be
honored later).

Please send all required information to the Chair of the Working Group
