[ecrea] Graduate Research Assistant funded PhD in Journalism Studies at University of Leicester

The Department of Media and Communication, University of Leicester,  is 
offering a fully funded PhD studentship in the area of Journalism 
Studies.  This studentship (Graduate Research Assistant) will conduct 
PhD research alongside supporting the development of new and already 
established research projects housed in the News and Journalism Research 
Group (part of the newly formed Public Communication Research Cluster)


This Graduate Research Assistantship is open to applicants with an 
interest in researching the relationship between journalism, technology 
and community. However, applicants with a strong research proposal in 
any of the following areas will also be considered:

-Journalism and conflict

-Journalism and citizenship

-Journalism and crisis / risk

The successful applicant will be supervised by Dr. Julian Matthewsand 
Dr. Vincent Campbell

able to start in October,  2016).
