CFP: WAPOR regional conference, Moscow, 15-17 September, 2016‎


The World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) will hold a ‎
regional conference on 15-17 September 2016 in Moscow, Russia. The ‎
conference will take place at the National Research University Higher 
School ‎
of Economics in Moscow. The conference will be organized by the Laboratory ‎
for Comparative Social Research (https://lcsr.hse.ru/en/). ‎
‎ ‎
WAPOR welcomes abstracts and panel proposals related to the conference ‎
theme, including but not restricted to the following topics: ‎
‎ ‎
* Social change and genetic diversity
* Subjective well-being and happiness
* Social capital and corruption
* Nationalism, ethnicity and migration
* Political participation and electoral behavior
* Cross-cultural concerns in data collection and data analysis
* History of opinion polls
* Questionnaire design and sampling
* Innovations in data collection
* Mixed-mode surveys
* Social media, Internet and Big Data

Individual submissions should include:‎
* Author`s name, affiliation and e-mail;‎
* Paper title
* Abstract (up to 350 words)‎
‎ ‎
Panel submissions should include:‎
* Panel title
* From 4 to 5 papers to be included in the proposed panel.‎
* Each paper should contain author`s name, affiliation, e-mail and ‎
abstract (up to 350 words)‎

SUBMISSION DECISIONS: MAY 15, 2016, 23:59 GMT ‎
