Reuters Institute is seeking applications from leading researchers who
would like to spend an academic year with our research team as a Google
Digital News Senior Visiting Research Fellow, based at the Reuters
Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford.
This fellowship will provide a**generous monthly stipend to cover all
accommodation and living expenses whilst in Oxford, as well as research
support for a full academic year starting in October 2016 and is aimed
at a high-profile and high-impact researcher resident in one of the

Applications will be assessed on the basis of three main criteria:
* The quality of the professional achievements and academic impact of
the researcher given the stage in their career
* Their potential and interest in being part of an international
research team and of contributing to and making best use of the
opportunity presented by the fellowship
* The quality of their detailed research proposal and their proposed
ideas on what relevant outputs will be produced during their stay in
Oxford of relevance to both academics and industry professionals
eager to understand digital media, news, and journalism today.
The application should include (1) a CV with a list of publications of
no more than 4 pages A4 in total (2) a research proposal with clear
research questions as well as a research approach and planned output of
no more than 4 pages A4, and (3) a letter of application of no more than
2 pages A4 explaining how the candidate and the proposed project is
aligned with our work.
*The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 29th January 2016.*
The successful candidate will be notified by 15th February 2016.
