[ecrea] NECS 2016 - CCVA Workgroup

Call for abstracts for NECS 2016 conference: In-between cultures of
connectivity
The NECS Cinema & Contemporary Visual Arts Workgroup is gathering
abstracts to submit one or more pre-constituted panel proposals for the
annual NECS conference. The event will take place at University of
Potsdam, Germany, from 28th to 30th July 2016 – more info on the general

The will submit proposals that relate the conference main topic to the
following areas:
- Digital, net, gif and media arts;
- The aesthetics of connectivity;
- Aristic representations of connectivity vs fragmentation;
- Film/art and in-betweenness;
- New ways of thinking artistic moving images;
- Curatorial practices and connectivity.
Please note that the CCVA Workgroup is open and welcomes abstracts both
by current and new members. The only condition to join is to have a
valid NECS membership (details here: http://necs.org/user/register )
If you are interested in submitting your abstract, please send your
proposal (120/150 words), including up to 3 bibliographical references
and a short bigraphical note, to Dr. Miriam De Rosa –
(miriam.derosa /at/ unicatt.it) by January 11th 2016. This will enable a
collective submission by January 31st.
