There is an opening for a term faculty member to teach cross-cultural
communication at the School of International Service/American University
Washington, DC for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016. Please see the

The School of International Service (SIS) at American University (AU)
invites applications for full-time, non-tenure track faculty
appointments for Academic Year 2015-16. Rank will be dependent on
experience and stature in the field. These appointments are 9-month term
positions and will commence August 31, 2015. Renewal for subsequent
academic years will be based on budgetary authorization and satisfactory
performance.
Applicants should hold a PhD or the highest equivalent degree in a
relevant discipline. Highly qualified applicants with a master’s degree
related to a relevant discipline will be considered. The positions will
require the incumbents to teach the equivalent of three undergraduate
and/or graduate courses per semester. All faculty are expected to hold
office hours and participate in School and University activities and
service.
We are especially interested in candidates who specialize in
Cross-Cultural Communication.
