The Department of Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication and the
Contemporary Asia Research Centre of the University of Milan are pleased to
announce the official programme of the international conference "Media and
Politics: Discourses, Cultures, and Practices", which will be held on
27th-28th May 2015 at the Polo di Mediazione Interculturale e Comunicazione
of the University of Milan, Piazza Montanelli 1, 20099 Sesto S. Giovanni
(MI), Italy.

Keynote speakers:
Geert Jacobs, Department of Linguistics, Ghent University, Belgium
Jiang Fei, Institute of Journalism and Communication, Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences, China
Eric Sangar, Department of European and International Studies, King's
College London, Great Britain
Wu Jing, School of Journalism and Communication, Peking University, China
Fu Jing, China Daily EU, Brussels

The programme includes over 60 speakers representing more than 15 countries,
organised in 18 panels and one roundtable. The participation is free of
charge.
