[ecrea] CfP "Exploring Gender and Sexuality in German Language Media"

Call for Papers:

This joint WIG-AATG panel invites contributions on the topic “Exploring 
Gender and Sexuality in German Language Media.” We are interested in 
papers that explore discourses about gender and sexuality as they are 
portrayed in German-language media. Media can be understood in the 
broadest sense to include print, film, television, radio, as well as 
online media.


Possible topics could include

•                Gender roles and their representation

•                Marriage/Divorce

•                Reproductive policies (family planning, birth control, 
abortion)

•                Sexual identity

•                Sexual subcultures (prostitution; pornography)


Please submit a 250-word abstract and a short biographical note by 
Friday, March 13, 2015 to Carol Anne Costabile-Heming
