The University of Jyväskylä, Finland, is seeking for applications for *Professorship in Journalism* at the Department of Communication. The professorship is based on a contract of employment to be filled as of January 1, 2016, in effect until further notice. The deadline of application expires on Feb 1, 2015. The professor's job-specific salary component is between 4617,75 EUR and 6803,52 EUR//month. In addition, a personal performance-based salary component, maximum of 46,3% of the job-specific salary is also paid. The professor is specifically expected to have expertise in the areas related to the future of journalism, such as media and journalism in a networked and multicultural society, effects of social media on journalism and its relationship with the audience, journalistic innovations, as well as journalism and globalization.

The University of Jyväskylä, Finland, is seeking for applications for *Professorship in Speech Communication/Interpersonal Communication* at the Department of Communication. The professorship is based on a contract of employment to be filled as of January 1, 2016, in effect until further notice. The deadline of application expires on Feb 1, 2015. The professor's job-specific salary component is between 4617,75 EUR and 6803,52 EUR//month. In addition, a personal performance-based salary component, maximum of 46,3% of the job-specific salary is also paid. The professor is expected to hold profound expertise in the central research areas of human interaction, especially in the context of workplaces and working life. These areas include interpersonal relationships, group and team communication, internal communication within communities and organizations, connections between human interaction and occupational wellbeing, communication development and training, and technology-mediated communication. The professor's special task is to develop future-oriented research and education of technology-mediated communication.
