The Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau (ZDA) and the University of 
Zurich are pleased to invite junior scholars to the
2nd Swiss Summer School Democracy Studies (s3ds) on

DEMOCRATIC INNOVATIONS

Zurich, Switzerland, 22 -- 26 June 2015

The Topic 2015 will focus on Democratic Innovations.

It aims to enhance theoretical and empirical insights into how 
established democracies adapt to new challenges and transform in that 
process. Institutional innovations in citizen participation, new forms 
of political behavior and public deliberation, and the effects of 
digital technologies in reaching out to the public will be addressed in 
five one-day sessions:
