*£27,657 pa inclusive*

Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with good writing
skills, experience in public information/outreach and policy issues, and
an interest in media and communications policy. The successful candidate
will join an established and successful department, ranked top in the UK
in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework on grade point average,
research quality and strength of non-academic research impact.

Candidates should have:

* Good project management skills;
* A working knowledge of media and technology policy terminology;
* A proven ability to write to a publishable standard in this field;
* Experience in drafting and editing, especially for online formats, and
using social media;
* A postgraduate degree in a related discipline, or be working towards one.

Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who are well
versed in using HTML based systems, Wordpress or other blog platforms,
and databases. Candidates currently undertaking postgraduate degrees in
media and communications, public policy or law would be highly suitable.
