Media and Communications
Research Officer, LSE Media Policy Project
Salary: £33,450 to £40,462
Applications for a fixed term post from 15 September 2014 until 31 March
2015 (with
possible extension dependent on funding) will be considered from
outstanding candidates
with experience in media policy, public information/outreach and project
management. The
successful candidate will join an innovative and growing Media Policy
Project within a
leading department which was ranked third on GPA in the 2008 Research
Assessment
Exercise.
Candidates should have:
• A post-graduate degree in communications, public policy, or similar.
• A proven track record with project management, preferably in the areas
of media
policy or media development, and must have excellent writing and editing
skills.
• Knowledge of media policy issues, and will at least have a keen
interest in the field
as well as previous experience in public information roles.
• Experience in drafting and editing, especially for online formats and
newsletters, and
using social media
