[ecrea] Call for Papers # Aniki: Portuguese Journal of the Moving Image

/Aniki: Portuguese Journal of the Moving Image/ (ISSN 2183-1750) accepts 
original essays on, among others, the following areas: cinema, 
television, media archaeology, video, digital cultures, sound and the 
moving image, history and theory of the moving image.

The first issue of /Aniki: Portuguese Journal of the Moving Image /is 
now online. The inaugural issue includes original essays by Lúcia Nagib, 
Manuela Penafria and Ismail Xavier, a dossier on cinephilia and digital 
technologies, edited by Tiago Baptista, with articles by Catherine 
Grant, Christian Keathley and Malte Hagener, and an interview with Laura 
Mulvey. These essays showcase /Aniki/'s commitment to publish texts that 
combine a solid theoretical and conceptual perspective with the detailed 
analysis of individual works, in cinema or in the most recent iterations 
of the moving image, about renown or yet to be discovered works and authors.



/Aniki/ is a free access online journal with peer review published by 
AIM -- Association of Moving Image Researchers.
