Research Associate in E-Governance & Innovation
Hertie School of Governance
The Hertie School of Governance is a private university based in Berlin,
accredited by the State and the German Science Council.
Interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, first-class research
and an extensive international network set the Hertie School apart and
position it as an ambassador of good governance, characterised by public
debate and engagement. The School was founded at the end of 2003 as a
project of the Hertie Foundation, which remains its major partner.
The Hertie School of Governance has an immediate opening for a Research
Associate in E-Governance & Innovation
Your tasks:
* Assistance in setting up the National eGovernment Competence
Center (Nationales E-Government Kompetenzzentrum, NEGZ)
* Teaching involvement in the field of E-Governance & Innovation
* Assistance with research projects
* Strategy development and application preparation for third-party
funding
* Communication with international project partners
Your profile:
* A very good university degree (Master or equivalent) relating to
E-Governance & Innovation (e.g. information systems, administrative
computer science, social science or economics)
* Knowledge of an IT-based modernisation of administration is
advantageous
* Highly developed organisation skills, efficiency and attention to
detail
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A very good command of English and German (the working language
at the Hertie School is English)
Contract duration: The position is part-time (0.5 of FTE). In the first
instance, the contract is limited to one year with the possibility of an
extension.
Possibility of pursuing a PhD.
