    £27578 to £35938 per annum (pro rata), depending on skills and 
experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

    This is part-time post (27 hours per week) is available from 1 
September 2012 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period 
of 10 months.

The Department of Culture, Film and Media at the University of 
Nottingham seeks to appoint a Teaching Associate in media studies for 
the academic year 2012/13. Duties include teaching or co-teach 
undergraduate modules, supervising undergraduate dissertations and 
performing some limited administrative duties. Module titles include 
Global Media, Translating Cultures, Contesting Culture and Study Skills. 
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of global and 
comparative media studies and experience of university teaching.
