*CALL FOR PAPERS CUADERNOS DE INFORMACIÓN N° 31 (Dec. 2012)*

*Special theme: **Digital TV in Ibero-America*

*Guest editors: Valerio Fuenzalida and Francisco Fernández*

*Deadline for paper submission: August 30, 2012 *

_About the thematic section_

Although in Latin America, Spain and Portugal broadcast television remains the most influential media, digitization is redefining the bases on which the industry is based, its language, its relationship with the audience, the business model and the very concept of television. This is what the experience of several European, Asian and North American countries suggest, where the so-called "analog blackout" has already occurred or is in process of completion. /Cuadernos de Información/ invites researchers in the field to submit papers for this special section, preferably comparative studies on digital television in Ibero-America.
