[ecrea] ECREA, IAMCR and ICA launch "Mapping Communication Associations"

*MAPPING COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATIONS*

ECREA, IAMCR and ICA are pleased to announce the launch of a joint 
online inventory of communication associations worldwide. All 
communication associations are invited to create an entry in the 
database. This can be done simply by having the highest officer 
(president, director or other) sign up, then create an entry for his or 
her association.

The "Mapping Communication Associations" web interface is hosted by 
Université libre de Bruxelles and can be found at:
http://mapping.ulb.ac.be

As more associations make themselves known, the database will gradually 
grow into the first ever searchable database of communication 
associations. At this stage, the database is publicly accessible and can 
be navigated either by browsing (alphabetical list) or searching using 
keywords.

Please forward this message to the management of communication 
associations that you know and are not yet recorded in the database. 
Note that all entries are only integrated into the database after a 
manual validation by the database manager. This process can take up to a 
few days.
