public service broadcasting'. A one day conference at the BFI Southbank, 
NFT 3, 20th September 2012.

The conference will bring together leading academics and key industry 
figures from the television and digital media independent sector to 
explore the role of Indies in Public Service Broadcasting over the past 
30 years and its multiplatform future.

Organised by Dr James Bennett, Paul Kerr, Dr Niki Strange and Dr Andrea 
Medrado, the conference is the culmination of a 2 year AHRC funded 
project <http://cowboysorindies.wordpress.com/about-2/> on the role of 
Indies and multiplatform in PSB factual programming and content.

The day will end with the launch of our industry report, which will be 
accompanied by drinks and canapés.
