Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with a research 
focus in any subfield of Political Communication, although preference 
may be given to applicants with a focus on new media. You will have a 
strong track record of publications appropriate to career stage as well 
as a completed, or nearly completed, PhD in a relevant subject. You will 
maintain an active programme of research and will contribute to the 
general work of the School, including teaching for the MSc in Political 
Communication.

Politics is an established, successful and expanding part of the School 
of Social and Political Sciences and this post will complement and 
reinforce existing strengths in political communication and related 
subjects. The appointee will play a role in a number of research 
clusters in Politics - especially Citizens, Communication and Political 
Actors - and in relevant College and University research networks.
