The Celebrity Forum section of Celebrity Studies Journal is interested =
in receiving short submissions (up to 1,500 words) that engage in =
contemporary debates, issues, phenomenon and developments in the field =
of celebrity studies.=20

Topics might include, but are not limited to:
The Voice vs Britain's Got Talent
Angelina Jolie's leg: photoshop, twitter and glamour
Diva Deaths: Amy Winehouse&  Whitney Houston
Revenge Porn: Tulisa and the celeb sex tape
Pop stars go to the movies: Rihanna and other pop star film debuts
Just say no: Axel Rose&  the hall of fame
YouTube Channels: Commissioning online celebrity
Critiques of recently published articles on celebrity studies

This is an open-ended call, but to be considered for publication in 2012 =
submissions must be made by June 11th 2012.
Celebrity Forum descriptor

Celebrity Forum is a section of Celebrity Studies Journal that provides =
a space for timely responses to contemporary and historical issues in =
celebrity culture. We encourage submissions in two forms: 1,000-1,500 =
words (including notes) =93think pieces=94, including case studies, =
which should be provocative and open-ended, encouraging exchange and =
debate. Alternatively, we invite 500-1,000 word (including notes) =
submissions of comments and views on previous articles published within =
either the main section of the journal or Celebrity Forum. Above all, =
Celebrity Forum is designed to be dialogical and primarily engaged with =
cutting edge developments in celebrity and its study.
