[ecrea] AHRC Research Network Seminar 28th March in Cardiff: The Social Semiotics of Popular Journalism

the AHRC research Network 'Exploring the Language of the Popular in
Anglo-American Newspapers 1833-1988' will be holding its 4th seminar on
March 28th at the University of Cardiff.

This seminar explores the social semiotics of popular journalism and
includes papers on the portrayal of female criminals, the miners strike
and Rupert Murdock and the Times newspaper.
