The University of Portsmouth's School of Creative Arts, Film and
Media, in partnership with the British Universities Film and Video
Council, and with the support of the Arts and Humanities Research
Council presents:
CHANNEL 4 AND BRITISH FILM CULTURE CONFERENCE
What: This 30th anniversary conference invites media historians,
policy-makers and key personnel from the British film and
television industries to celebrate Channel 4?s contribution to
British film culture, and to debate the future role of public
service broadcasters in the film industry.
Who: Special guest speakers will introduce a programme of film
screenings
Where: London, BFI Southbank, NFT3
When: 1-3 November 2012

We invite proposals for papers on any aspect of Channel 4's 30-year
