Chaired by issue editors Lizzie Thynne and Nadje Al-Ali, this launch event for the latest special issue of Feminist Review includes a discussion between Sima Shakhsari (University of Houston, Texas) and Gholam Khiabany (Sussex) on 'Gender and neo-liberal entrepreneurship in blogs from the Iranian diaspora.'

Discussion begins at 2.45 pm preceded by lunch at 1pm and a screening of Blogger’s War (Dir. Farid Haerinejad, CBC, 2005) at 1:45pm.

We are delighted to offer Shaktari's controversial article from this special issue, ‘Weblogistan goes to war: representational practices, gendered soldiers and neoliberal entrepreneurship in diaspora’ to read and download FOR FREE from the Feminist Review website until the end of January 2012.
