[ecrea] Website on post-soviet region – looking for authors

Dear ECREA-List,

The non-profit organization Objective Mind would like to invite you and other interested people to participate as a potential author in our upcoming web site.

Our non-profit organization is working among other things in the areas of civic education, state information and in the area of knowledge transfer - primary with a central web site on the post-soviet region where you can publish articles about various subjects as an author. The official launch of the web site will be in February 2012 during the run-up of the presidential elections in Russia.

Possible subjects:
- states of the post-soviet region (except for the Baltic states)
- politics, society, economy, environment and public opinion
- a specific subject can be arranged with our team if you are interested in participating

Possible article forms:
- journalistic articles (not more than 7,500 characters, short sentences, no collections of foreign words, active and varied sentence constructions)
- in English or German (or both)
- complete author guidelines can be sent to you by e-mail (see below)

Article forms that won't be accepted:
- academic articles
- research papers
- secondary publications
- PR-articles

We offer interested authors intensive editorial support during the publishing process, help with the development of their writing skills, and a publication platform. A payment cannot be provided because our non-profit organization has no own financial resources.
