Call for papers: Mediatization and Cultural Change
Submission deadline: SEPTEMBER 1, 2012.
Publication deadline: Spring 2013.

Editors: Stig Hjarvard (guest editor) and Line Nybro Petersen, 
University of Copenhagen

Mediatization has emerged as an important new research agenda for 
understanding the complex interplay between media and cultural change. 
By shifting the focus from 'mediation' to 'mediatization', mediatization 
theory has provided new impetus to examine the long-term influence of 
media on a variety of cultural spheres and phenomena such as family, 
education, religion, sports, science, work, war and politics.
