*Salary:  Senior Lecturer: £36,862 - £45,336;  Lecturer: £31,798 - £35,788**

As part of a team, you will provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Department of Media, in particular, areas related to new media and everyday life: cultural spaces and its audiences, individualised spectators and media users.

You will enhance the Department's research strengths through high quality research led publications. You will also participate in internal and external networks to contribute to student recruitment, outreach work and/or income generation.

You will be a research active academic with a relevant PhD and/or equivalent postgraduate or professional qualification/experience in the media and cultural studies. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the concepts, modes of analysis and theoretical approaches employed in the study of media and cultural studies to ensure and deliver a high quality student experience.
