*Description *
The aim of this conference is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for
interrogating and challenging the zeitgeist of austerity.
Delegates will be able to debate one of the most prevalent cultural
issues with eminent writers and thinkers from across a range of
disciplines. The conference aims to facilitate dialogues between
academics, political activists, artistic practitioners and media experts
concerning the future effects of the new age of austerity in the context
of higher education. The conference will also reach beyond the academy,
theorising the effects of austerity on wider social and cultural
discourses and spaces.
Registration Fees: Full (2 day) £95; Full (1day) £75
PhD/MA Student (2 day) £50; PhD/MA Student (1day) £30
The two day conference is comprised of three keynote speeches, 8 themed
sessions delivering papers and a round table discussion.
