[ecrea] New volume: On Media Memory: Collective Memory in a New Media Age

We are very pleased to announce that our edited volume, "On Media
Memory: Collective Memory in a New Media Age" (Palgrave Macmillan), has
just been published.

The volume offers a comprehensive discussion of the concept of Media
Memory and brings Media and Mediation to the forefront of Collective
Memory research. The volume includes twenty concise
and thought-provoking essays, written by leading scholars of
communication research and collective memory studies, who address
conceptual challenges and discuss specific case studies pertaining to
the field of Media Memory. The scope of the essays reflects a diversity
of media technologies, including print, television, radio, film and new
media; media genres such as news, fiction and documentary; and cultural
contexts comprising analyses from the US, UK, Spain, Nigeria,
France, Germany and Israel.
