*Netted Cinema. New contents and strategies 2.0*

Cinema is spreading nowadays trough thousands of screens of all kinds. 
This puts a strain on some old structures, while there are growing new 
ways to create, disseminate and share the works and displaying mutants 
formats on media. The film industry is  attempting to adapt to  the 
challenges and threats of this new context.  Meanwhile, from the borders 
and margins of cinema, a great many networking practices produced with 
low cost budgets is re-creating the cinema with other tools. So these 
new technologies and guerrilla tactics are are bringing up a new 
battlefield to us.


This is the proposal of the special dossier for the 13th issue of 
L'Atalante . Articles addressing the new scenario in the film domain in 
all its different areas are sought, from on-line distribution to the 
collaborative production through the new aesthetics of reappropriation 
or the use of social networks for the consume.

You can send your proposals up to date April 30, 2011 to

institution, title and a twenty lines abstract summarizing the thesis of 
the text proposed for consideration by the Editorial Board.


In addition, L'Atalante accepts also proposals for articles for its 
miscellaneous section, Puntos de Fuga, not related to the special 
dossier. In both cases, the selected works will be communicated to the 
requirements for the submission of text and the deadline, which will be

*L’Atalante. Revista de estudios cinematográficos* is a biannual journal 
published by the Association  Cineforum L'Atalante, with the support of 
different departments of the University of Valencia (UV) and other 
institutions such as the Valencian International University (VIU) and 
the Universitat Jaume I (UJI). L'Atalante is distributed within national 
and international scope, specially in Spanish-speaking countries, 
through the Servei de Publicacions of the UV, and it s indexed in the 
database of scientific journals of Thomson Reuters, Philadelphia (USA).
