Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Media for February, 2012.

Applications are invited for a tenured position in the Discipline of Media at
the University of Adelaide, Adelaide, South Australia. The university is a
member of Australia's G08 research universities, and located in the city's CBD.

The new staff member will join an innovative department responsible for delivery
of the B.Media and B.Media Honours, and participate in the supervision of a
rapidly growing postgraduate cohort. The undergraduate media program has a focus
on digital and participatory media, is supported by strong industry and
community media connections, and includes a highly successful internship
program. The initial responsibilities of the position are to teach transmedia
literacies and narrative at first-year level, and to develop electives for an
existing practice stream at advanced level.

teaching record are essential selection criteria.
