Ph.D. in Film Studies or an equivalent field. Experience teaching at
the University level is required, as are scholarly publications and
an active research agenda.
Special Expertise/Area of Concentration in any of the following areas:
* Documentary Film
* Latin American Cinemas, African Cinemas or South Asian Cinemas
* Caribbean Cinema
* Film Production
Special Responsibility
Teaching and research in Film Studies courses and modules in the BA
in Film. The development of courses in Film Theory and Aesthetics.
Research supervision in film and, in particular, in research areas
that privilege the advancement of knowledge in areas relating to
Caribbean cinema. Enhancement of the research profile of The
University of the West Indies.
