??? Are you a PhD level student or junior researcher and Is your research on the reception of film, visual arts or music, and do you:

? Have a special interest in thhe whys and ways media and arts provide recipients with access to the inner life of portrayed figures and that of producers/ authors? ? Want to be acquainted wiith recent accomplishments in neuroscience and computer science possibly strengthening your research on experiences of empathy with and profound understanding of people figuring in or authoring the production? ? Waant to exchange & expand ideas on your research with fellow PhD students, junior researchers and senior experts working on empathy and mind reading in media and arts, and with neuroscientists and computer scientists?
?       Do you feel at home in interdisciplinary researchh communities?
Then you should definitely participate in the graduate level summer school Reading Mediated Minds, University of Amsterdam, July 11 -13.

The summer school offers tuition-free lectures and master classes where you discuss ways to get at improved models of empathy and mind reading combining humanities with neuroscience and neuropsychology, and more powerful machine learning based approaches to collecting and analysing relevant content and other data.
