[ecrea] Seminar: Music, politics and identity

SEMINAR: MUSIC, POLITICS AND IDENTITY
By focusing the various intersections between music, politics and
identity this seminar aims to explore the ways in which musical practise
and reception today can be thought to entail political significance or
relevance. More specifically the seminar will address and discuss
questions concerning the relationship between (live) popular music, the
state and the marked, musical minorities and censorship, and the
sociology of music in relation to education and political elites.
