COMPUTER-AIDED QUALITATIVE RESEARCH 2010
3 & 4 February 2010, Kuala Lumpur

We are delighted to announce that the programme for the International
Workshop on Computer-Aided Qualitative Research 2010 is now available. To

This unique, highly interactive and cross-disciplinary event will bring
together senior researchers, practitioners and students to discuss the key
issues and best practices on the use of software in qualitative research.
The event will include submitted presentations, invited speeches and a
highly interactive panel discussion. As with previous events, this workshop
will provide excellent opportunities for participants to network with their
peers.

Programme highlights include:
* Choosing the right software for qualitative research projects
* Collaborating effectively in a web based team using design tools
* How to use qualitative software to perform participatory analysis?
* Using open-source CAQDAS tools: a qualitative research study in India
* Comparing major qualitative software tools: strength and shortcomings
* How to demonstrate and report the use of software tools in studies?
* Exploring new techniques of analysing photos and media files using
software
* Training students to use qualitative analysis software tools effectively
* Selecting appropriate software tool for different types of studies and
disciplines
* How to make use of software to enhance efficiency of doing qualitative
analysis
* Applying computer-assisted qualitative data analysis in grounded theory
analysis
