Toros University is a newly established private 
university in Mersin, Turkey. Toros University 
has its campuses within the city of Mersin.

Mersin is a major city on the Mediterranean coast 
of Turkey. Mersin offers many advantages as a 
university city. Climate in Mersin is mild 
throughout the year. Mersin is rich in terms of 
social and cultural activities and events. City 
of Mersin and its surroundings are rich in 
history. This includes sites and ruins from Roman 
era, Alexander the Great era, Early Christianity 
era, Seljuk era and Otoman era.

Toros University offers programs in undergraduate 
and graduate levels in its schools:

   * Institute of Science and Engineering

Toros University is hiring new faculty from all 
over the World, especially in the following areas:
   * Computer science and engineering
   * Electrical and electronics engineering
   * Industrial engineering and operations research
   * Information technologies
   * Business administration and management
   * Economics
   * Political science and international relations

Fluency in English is a must.

Applications are sought for full-time faculty 
positions at all levels, assistant professor, 
associate professor and full professor, to begin 
in Fall 2010, in all the above areas.

Responsibilities

Teaching in undergraduate and graduate levels and 
to lead and participate in research.
