Research Fellow in Media and Communication Studies

Five year, full time/part time research contract, Researcher A/B salary 
£20,317 - £31,076 oa inc LWA

The Research Centre of the School of Media, Arts and Design invites 
applications for an EPSRC postdoctoral academic fellowship in the area of 
audiences and global media. Applicants will be joining the Communication 
and Media Research Institute, awarded a 5 in the last three Research 
Assessment Exercises, and rated top for Media Studies by the Guardian for 
the fourth year in succession. The Institute has strengths in media policy 
and economics, in media history, and media audiences.

The post is open to researchers supported on any type of grant funding; 
holders of current fellowship awards; and returners or other researchers 
without current research support. Applicants should be researchers who 
specialize in some area of media, communication, cultural studies, or 
sociology, and have completed a PhD, or be of postdoctoral standing.
