The editors of the Communication Papers are pleased to announce that the
new issue is now available.

The special issue “Gender and Media in the Globalized World” of
Communication Papers: Media Literacy & Gender Studies (ISSN 2014-6752)
has been published. This special issue consists of 9 research papers on
gender & media/communication studies. Communication Papers: Media
Literacy & Gender Studies (ISSN 2014-6752) by the University of Girona
is a peer-reviewed,open access electronic journal, published in English,
Spanish and Catalan twice a year. Based in disciplines of media and
communication studies, the journal focuses on journalism, audiovisual
communication and advertising, with particular emphasis on the issues of
gender treatment and media literacy. Communication Papers focuses on
publishing articles on mass communication from diverse perspectives.
