Intellect is pleased to announce that Studies in Spanish & Latin
American Cinemas 19.3 is out now.
Special Issue: ‘Affect and Contemporary Spanish Film, Television and Media’
This issue examines a range of affects in film, television and other
forms of screen media produced in Spain following the global financial
crash of 2008. Contributors interrogate the emergence as well as the
limitations of counter-hegemonic discourse in contemporary Spain,
unveiling neo-liberal capitalism’s stranglehold on society.
