[ecrea] New Book- Case Studies in Crisis Communication: International Perspectives....
Tue Apr 03 09:39:16 GMT 2012
We are pleased to announce the publication of a new book on crisis communication. Titled "Case Studies in Crisis Communication: International Perspectives on Hits and Misses," it was written to fill the gap for a much-needed textbook in case studies in crisis communication from international perspectives. Edited by Amiso M. George and Cornelius Pratt, with contributions from an international cadre of scholars and practitioners, the 554-page book has 23 critically analyzed cases from government, nonprofit and corporations. An introductory chapter focuses on the theoretical framework through which each case is analyzed. A second chapter provides the practical steps to effective crisis planning a communication. A unique feature of the book is the "Views from an Expert," which is found at the end of every chapter, in which an expert not connected to the crises shares disinterested opinions and views on the specifics of a crisis that an organization confronts.
The book is published by Routledge/Taylor Francis (2012).
