School: Bath School of Art, Film and Media
Location: Newton Park Campus (Locksbrook / Paintworks)
Line Manager: Subject Leader: Media - Dr Rebecca Feasey - She / Her
Rate of pay: Grade AC2 | Hourly Paid: £17.78 per hour and for each hour
of teaching you will be paid for an additional 1.5 hours preparation and
marking (£45.80)
Hours: Part time, fixed term 2022-2023

*Job Purpose*
To undertake teaching, assessment and administration associated with the
delivery of undergraduate modules in the Bath School of Art, Film and Media.
*About the role*
Bath School of Art, Film & Media is seeking an Associate Lecturer in
Creative Media with good organisational skills and a commitment to
innovative teaching and learning. You will join a team of academics to
deliver, coordinate and evolve our courses in Creative Media. We are
looking for academic practitioners who are
exceptionally motivated with some experience in digital media production
and moving image production and their critical contexts.
*Main Duties and Responsibilities*
* To undertake teaching (lectures, workshops, seminars and tutorials
as appropriate)
* Supporting undergraduate students in groups, individually and in
online environments
* Mark assessments and attend required assessment and examination
meetings
* Administration
* Contribute to syllabus planning in relevant modules
* To undertake professional updating in the relevant subject area
* Have due regard for health and safety in the workplace
* Any other responsibilities determined by the University as
deemed appropriate to the post.
*Additional Points*
All members of the teaching team are invited to staff meetings and can
